Hello Resident,

During the last week your local PCSO has been on both foot and vehicle patrols including in Hickman Park and along local canal towpaths. A couple of untaxed vehicles have been removed from your local streets including a large van from the estate just off Ward Street. Crime prevention advice has been given to local stores and a shoplifter at one of the local stores has been positively identified. A local community meeting chaired by the council and also present were housing, the antisocial behaviour unit and the housing department was also attended at the Memorial Hall, George Street. We continue to work in conjunction with local businesses.
